Interesting center table gives 7 different exchange rates for the 1 dollar coin, meant to help merchants with travelers. "THE LION DANCE, / HONG KONG" continental-size postcard mailed 18 MAY 1972 from Hong Kong to Mr. & Mrs. Earl Mercer in Toledo Ohio, clear cancel on $1.00 coat-of-arms stamp, neatly detached from a booklet, tiny bottom corner crease, small upper corner bend, faint cancel ink in the front sky. Done on Chinese New Year, the dance is performed by kung fu masters & students with weapons in front of shops paying protection money (inside little red envelopes placed into the gaping lion mouths)! $1.00 hm-h
